Expo 2010 Visitor number hits new record

A total of 350,400 visitors entered the Expo site, Expo 2010 Shanghai China, by 8pm on May 26, 2010 on the Expo's 26th day, bringing the total visitor number to a new high at about 6.07 million since the fair's opening.

The operation of the site, Expo 2010 Shanghai China, was in good order, the organizers announced.

Among the visitors, 139,700 were on group tours, accounting for about 40 percent of yesterday's visitor flow.

The most crowded gates, Expo 2010 Shanghai China, were Shangnan Road, Gaoke Road W., Houtan, and Changqing Road. Houtan received as many as 68,000 visitors, Changqing Road 56,000, and Shangnan Road, Gaoke Road W. about 45,000 each.

A total of 45,759 tickets of Expo 2010 Shanghai China were sold on site by 7:30pm.By 5pm, 76 performances had been staged, attracting nearly 68,000 visitors. Altogether 6,051 volunteers served on the site.
